I’m a secondary school teacher and a qualified counsellor. I’m a passionate advocate for mental health and teacher wellbeing.
With nearly 30 years of experience teaching in schools and universities, I’ve witnessed the emotional and mental toll the profession can take on those who give so much of themselves.
Despite growing concern, teacher wellbeing remains largely overlooked — even as more educators leave the profession feeling exhausted and unsupported. We urgently need sustainable, compassionate solutions.
Drawing on my background in education, meditation, and life coaching, I created the Dear Teacher, Breathe! series — a collection of books designed to support, uplift, and empower teachers. Through my blog, I continue this work by bringing teacher wellbeing into the spotlight.
This is a space where your wellbeing truly matters — where you're seen not just as a teacher, but as a whole human being.
